ROSS WOOD AWARD - Call for Entries
Continuing the Ross Wood Memorial Award recipient’s responses to the questions:
What were you given the award for? And how, if at all, has the award helped in the development of your career?
NOW is the time to prepare your entry if you are considering entering for this year’s Ross Wood Memorial Award. Entries close at the end of April, in time for presentation at this year’s National Awards in May. This will be the last year of the Ross Wood Award in it’s current form, SO ENTER NOW!!!
You could be the recipient of a substantial cash award if your entry is deemed b ythe committee to qualify under the broad guidelines of help in the development of some new film industry based equipment, or help in the area of personal career development in a specific industry based endeavour.

Recipients of the Ross Wood Award to date are, in order since 1993:Paul Nicola (Vic), Jim Frazier (NSW), Matt Butler (NSW), Taryn Southcombe (NSW) and Steve Welch (Vic) (shared award in 1997),Nick Hayward (Vic), Carolyn Constantine (NSW), Wade Fairley (NSW),Dominic Egan (Qld), Mark Ruff (Vic), Geoff Owen (Qld). There was no award given in 2004.
