ACS becomes IMAGO Associate Member
ACS Federal President Ted Rayment ACS attended the recent IMAGO General assembly in The Netherlands, where the ACS was accepted in as an Associate Member. ACS to become IMAGO Associate Member
IMAGO the European Federation of Cinematographers has invited ACS to join as an associate member, which will be ratified at their council meeting in early 2008.

Panavision's Martin Cayzer to chair Ausfilm
Ausfilm has appointed Panavision Australia Managing Director Martin Cayzer as Chairman of Ausfilm for a two-year term. Ausfilm's elected Board, which comprises senior representatives of the screen-services sector in Australia, chooses the Chairman, in addition to two Deputy Chairs.

John Stokes wins ASC Award

Congratulations to John Stokes ACS for winning a coveted ASC Award

Our very own John Stokes ACS has picked up an ASC award for his work on Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King (Umney’s Last Case) on February 18 at a lavish ceremony in Hollywood.

David Elliot presented John with the top award in the television movie/miniseries/pilot competition for the TNT miniseries.

The 1700 guest event boasted the who’s who of film making that included the likes of Charlize Theron, Martin Scorsese, Tim Allen, Emmanuel Lubezki and Robert Richardson
