John Schwartzman, ASC Wins ASC Feature Award

John Schwartzman, ASC ("The Rookie," "Armageddon") has won the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Outstanding Achievement Award for his work on the feature film "Seabiscuit." Schwartzman was in competition with nominees Russell Boyd, ACS ("Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World"), Andrew Lesnie, ACS ("The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King"), John Seale, ASC, ACS ("Cold Mountain"), and John Toll, ASC ("The Last Samurai"). In 2001, Schwartzman earned an ASC nomination for "Pearl Harbor." The award was presented by director Jim Sheridan.
