ACS VFX Workshop

When:
12-08-2006 to 13-08-2006

The ACS in association with FXPHD.com and Photon are holding a 2  day workshop on lighting and shooting Green Screen and Miniatures.

FXPHD.com is an online educational company and  will be compositing the shot with matte paintings, greenscreen keying and 3D after the shoot. The visual effects supervisors from FXPHD.com will be on hand to discuss visual effects issues and answer any questions.

Renowned DOP Steve Newman ACS will supervise the event. Photon are providing Milo Motion Control and Panavision   are providing the Genesis  camera system. Warner Roadshow Studios are supporting the event wholeheartedly by allowing the use of Studio One. Adam Williams and Tim McGahan ACS from Filmlighting will provide lighting equipment and Tony O'Loughlan is supporting us with his Milo expertise.

This will be a unique opportunity to observe and learn from one of Australia's leading DOP's. Steve's credits include :  SUPERMAN, BABE, GHOST SHIP, to name just a few.

The cost to ACS members will be $55.00  (incl. GST ). Non-Members $75.00  (incl. GST ).
