ACS Victoria is proudly supporting the presentation of this film and upcoming documentary by ACS cinematographer, Rudi Siira and his fellow filmmakers. Please go along and support the funding of the documentary.

On December 1st at 6.30pm Backlot studios will be screening the award winning documentary “Presumed Guilty” followed by a Q&A and panel discussion on human rights, social justice, film and social impact. Trailers to the upcoming feature documentary “Geeta” will also be screened.

Two young Mexican attorneys attempt to exonerate a wrongly convicted man by making a documentary. In the process they expose the contradictions of a judicial system that presumes suspects guilty until proven innocent.

Set in the Backstreets of Agra’s slums, GEETA is the inspirational true story of a courageous woman and acid attack survivor (Geeta) who is determined to build a better life for her three daughters against almost impossible odds.

Q&A panel will include Emmy Award winning director of Presumed Guilty director - Geoffrey Smith, Geeta director Emma Macey-Storch and Geeta cinematographer Rudi Siira.

All proceeds go towards the completion of feature documentary Geeta.
