ACS Victoria invite you to a special event to showcase the first Golden Short Shots. This event will showcase a small selection of short form entries that won GOLD at the 2016 Victorian and Tasmanian Awards.

Screening and Q&A, screen the clip and give DPs about 20mins to discuss and field questions from the attendees about the presented work.

WHERE: Backlot Studios
65 Haig Street
Southbank VIC
(between Clarendon and Cecil Sts)
Parking on site or on Haig St

WHEN: Wednesday July 26th, 2017
Doors and bar opens 6.30pm. Screening starts 7.30pm SHARP. Q&A immediately after each of the screenings.

COST: Free Entry for financial ACS Members.
Free Entry to the first 15 Screen Professionals Collective (SPC) (Vic) members who book a seat (One ONLY per SPC Member). This includes members of ADG, ASE, AWG, SPA, ASSG, AGSC & APDG. Once the allocation is full, SPC members can buy at Concession price.
Concession/Students $10 Cash
Non-Members $15 Cash

Tickets MUST be booked to ensure your seat, even if you are entitled to FREE Entry.
You do not need to print out your Try Booking receipt as we will have a list of names at the door.

FIDGET & FOIL (John Bowring ACS Station Breaks and Promo) Adam Howden ACS

"Fidget and Foil" is a poem by David Nobay about Sydneys (once) infamous, nocturnal playground of partiers and insomniacs; The Cross. Spoken by actor Josh McConville and realised visually by Josh Logue.

"Mine" is Melbourne artist Life is Better Blonde’s debut single.

A jaded Japanese businessman moonlights as an electric organ-player at an American-themed bar in Tokyo. In the bar’s industrial kitchen, a petite chef prepares miniature meals with great precision.

Sarah and Zach live in the depths of the forest after a mysterious plague forces them to flee the city. Years of isolation make Sarah hard and controlling, while Zach becomes depressed and fatalistic. As they drift further apart, the monstrous beings in the forest draw closer, threatening their tenuous existence.
